FGE achieves link to process for robbery with aggravated violence, in Palenque

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.- The State Attorney General's Office (FGE), through the Selva District Prosecutor's Office, detained three male persons and managed to get the Control Judge to link them to criminal proceedings for the crime of robbery with violence. aggravated, committed in the municipality of Palenque.

The Region 3 Control Judge, in the municipality of Catazajá, decided to order a legal arrest against Luis “N”, Filiberto “N” and Joel “N”. The order was completed by this Prosecutor's Office.

With the conclusive evidence provided by the Prosecutor of the Public Ministry, the defendants were linked to criminal proceedings and a precautionary measure of informal preventive detention was decreed in CERSS number 17, for the crime of robbery with aggravated violence and granted a period of two months of complementary research.

On February 23, the accused perpetrated the crime on the Palenque-Benemérito highway section of

the Americas, to the detriment of two migrants from Honduras.

The State Attorney General reaffirms its firm commitment to the people of Chiapas to guarantee security, the administration of justice and the rule of law, in such a way that no criminal conduct goes unpunished.
