FGE locates a woman in Salto de Agua with a disappearance report in Tabasco

The Specialized Police of the Selva District Prosecutor's Office activated the search protocol for the agreement between prosecutors

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.- Through the inter-prosecutorial agreement, the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), through the Selva District Prosecutor's Office, managed to locate a woman in the municipality of Salto de Agua, Chiapas; said person had a missing person report in the State of Tabasco.

In response to the request for collaboration of the General Prosecutor's Office of the State of Tabasco, through the Public Prosecutor of the Immediate Attention Unit of the Justice Procurement Center of the municipality of Macuspana, Tabasco, the Specialized Police of the Selva District Prosecutor's Office carried out the search for Erika “N”, activating the action protocol for the search, investigation and location of absent, lost, not located or missing persons.

Derived from research work, the elements of the FGE located Erika “N” in the municipality of

Salto de Agua, who stated that she was violated by her current partner and that she wanted to return to her home in Macuspana, Tabasco, with her family.

The woman was assessed by qualified personnel and after verifying that she was in good health, she was handed over for her reintegration into the family nucleus.

The State Attorney General's Office reaffirms its commitment to work in coordination with the country's prosecutors, and to ensure the benefit of citizens to guarantee security and the rule of law in Chiapas.
